A Rally for Victims of the Jerusalem Attack
This weekend, the Simon Wiesenthal Center will be holding a memorial and rally in Los Angeles for the victims of the terror attack in Jerusalem.
WHEN: Sunday, March 9, 2008, 4-5 pm
WHERE: Young Israel of Century City
9317 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, 90035
(Between Rexford and Glenville Dr.)
The terrorist attack on a religious seminary in Jerusalem, in which eight young students were murdered in cold blood by a Palestinian terrorist, is a terrible reminder of the indiscriminate and brutal terrorism Israel faces every day.
The gunman, armed with an automatic assault rifle, heavy ammunition and a bulletproof vest, infiltrated the crowded school library and opened fire at students during religious study.
The reaction in the West Bank and Gaza, including celebrations and praise for the killer, is the result of ongoing and intensive incitement to violence against innocent Israeli civilians.
'If the Arabs put down their weapons there would be no more violence, if the Jews put down their weapons there would be no more Jews'
'If the Arabs put down their weapons there would be no more violence, if the Jews put down their weapons there would be no more Jews'
There is no better explanation of the Israeli situation then that statement.
If only the rest of the world would realize how true it is.
This is my first time reading your blog and I just spent about an hour going through a lot of your posts.
I have enjoyed reading them and I think you have a knack for writing and are very adept at turning your thoughts into written words.
I am curious why you decided to move to Costa Rica. I did not find any entries here that explained that. I have recently come across a number of blogs of Americans that have moved to Costa Rica.
Two that I specifically recall are Costa Rica HQ and one called yo-yoinparadise. They are both by Americans that moved to Costa Rica.
They are all passionate advocates of how great a place Costa Rica is to live.
I have not really found an explanation in any of them for exactly why they chose Costa Rica to live.
I was hoping you could enlighten me.
Thanks
