Yet it is not a "coup." Zelaya was removed by the military at the behest of the Supreme Court, with the backing of the Congress and a majority of the people, and a member of Zelaya's own party was implemented as interim president. This is not a "coup," a "revolt," a "putsch," an "overthrow," or an "ousting by the military." What happened in Honduras to Zelaya is most accurately described as akin to "impeachment" and "forcible removal."

If the president were to be impeached by the Congress for violating the Constitution (stretch your imagination a little) and the police came to remove him from the White House, would this be a "coup"? Would the president be "ousted by the police"? That's absurd. The former president would be getting exactly what is coming to him.

The point is (excuse the daydream) that there is NO military junta in Honduras. This "coup" business being propagated by the media is a sham and it is disturbing that they would pull such a coordinated ruse on the American people in defiance of well-known facts, accessible to those who give a damn, on the Internet. Of course this is "FROM THE PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT YOU MANMADE GLOBAL WARMING" and still will not give it up even though this is obviously one of the coolest years on record and the data say that temps are dropping faster than Perez Hilton's popularity.

So I wrote ANOTHER "spirited" letter to Reuters, who is leading the way in what the KGB called "disinformation," and warned them that they stand to look like fools when this shakes out in the history books. Apparently they were unconcerned because they think it will be the leftists who will be writing them.

The biggest question underlying all this noise is this: If the media can cheer on an aspiring socialist dictator for life in Honduras, and remain silent with the president for well over a week on the slaughter of peaceful protesters in Iran, WHAT MAKES PEOPLE THINK THE MEDIA WOULDN'T CHEER AND LIE THE SAME WAY IF IT HAPPENED HERE?

As usual, you are completely correct in your assessment. I do have hope, though; I heard Democrat pundits on different MSM saying themselves that they had no idea why Obama would choose the side he chose. It's not much but it's a start.

It is a start. I heard the old lefty attack dog Helen Thomas rip the MinProp Gibbs for staging press conferences. The video got over 500 responses applauding Thomas. A small hopeful sign that public sentiment is getting a little testy with the Obama admin.
