"None of the four wars in my lifetime came about because we were too strong. It's weakness that invites adventurous adversaries to make mistaken judgments. America is the most peaceful, least warlike nation in modern history. We are not the cause of all the ills of the world. We're a patient and generous people. But for the sake of our freedom and that of others, we cannot permit our reserve to be confused with a lack of resolve."
Ronald Reagan (1984)
I would rather be a socialist if that means the real problems in this country get solved and we quit narrowing every debate down to the the buzz word arguments like 'abortion' or 'big government' or 'waste, fraud, and abuse', or 'trial lawyers' and suddenly each side stops, the yelling begins, and nothing ever gets accomplished.

Dear Mr. Drone,
I would rather be a socialist if that means the real problems in this country get solved~
Could you name one socialist country whose REAL problems have been solved? For that matter, what do you think are REAL problems?

The real problems are, of course, continued existence of those despicable Anglo-Protestants whose forefathers invented America... the fact they enjoy the fruit of 400 years of labor, sacrifice and investment; IQ disparity between racial subgroups; fair skin, light eyes and hair; making us look stupid.
In short, the problem is intractable until someone decides to do something about it. You know what I mean.

Happiness is them most precious thing in life. Without it, a man will feel that his ill fate has taken charge him and the world is utterly dark and dreadful.
