One of the planks of the conservative platform upon which presidential candidate John McCain ran in 2008 was his opposition to gay marriage. So imagine the surprise of the organizers of the "No H8 Campaign," which is a photo project devoted to collecting images in protest of the passage of Proposition 8, when McCain's wife Cindy volunteered to be included.
“In the year since we’ve started the NOH8 Campaign, we’ve been surprised at some of the different individuals who have approached us showing their support. Few, though, have surprised us more than Cindy McCain — the wife of Senator John McCain and mother to vocal marriage equality advocate Meghan McCain. The McCains are one of the most well-known Republican families in recent history, and for Mrs. McCain to have reached out to us to offer her support truly means a lot."
How Dixie Chicks. MEghan McCain is also in this campaign. It bothers me that everyone who disagrees with their position is accused of hate (or H8).
I don't want to watch the SOTU, yet I want to see Scott Brown sitting there. I'm not sure what to do!

KS,
How Dixie Chicks~ So funny! Yeah, we are labeled haters and anti-choice; no bias there!
I did not even think of how cool it would be to see Scott Brown in the room!!! Maybe we should watch it with the sound off! I, too, hadn't considered watching. I usually listen to Dennis Prager play clips and critique Obama's dopey speeches the following day but if it means seeing Brown in the room, maybe I will watch.

Can't watch...must scoop cat poop tonight! Half of what Zippy has to say will be pandering to his special interest groups, and the rest will be lies. Anything you want to "hear" will be on you tube by tomorrow. Perhaps FN will show a picture or two of that delicious Scott Brown, but I'll bet any other of the state-run media won't show even a hint of the man.

You know, I don't know if Brown has been sworn in. Maybe he won't be there tonight?
