"None of the four wars in my lifetime came about because we were too strong. It's weakness that invites adventurous adversaries to make mistaken judgments. America is the most peaceful, least warlike nation in modern history. We are not the cause of all the ills of the world. We're a patient and generous people. But for the sake of our freedom and that of others, we cannot permit our reserve to be confused with a lack of resolve."
Ronald Reagan (1984)
Just when I'd been feeling so low, my Facebook friend Monk, saw I'd posted a 'Kill The Bill' thing on my page and he surprised me with this fabulous, genius Photoshop!!! How nice was that?!? Thank you, thank you, Monk! You totally made my day!
"You totally made my day!"

THAT IS FABULOUS NORA!!!!
I'm watching the death of America as we know it at the moment.
Last night DH started playing Reagan speeches and memorial videos on Youtube- I cried and cried feeling more hopeless than I have ever felt before.
If I can paraphrase Reagan, he said "the hope is in the individual American." Whereas 0bambi says the hope is him and him alone.

Nuggen,
I share your angst and sadness. I can't believe Americans devolved to a point where they voted this fraud into our White House. The only thing that makes me feel better is to see how many have stood up and rallied relentlessly to fight this. Our fight has just begun but it is disheartening that after a year of activism, we were not heard. There will be a huge price to pay for us all. I pray we can undo the damage and that the Dems go down in flames, in November.
