"None of the four wars in my lifetime came about because we were too strong. It's weakness that invites adventurous adversaries to make mistaken judgments. America is the most peaceful, least warlike nation in modern history. We are not the cause of all the ills of the world. We're a patient and generous people. But for the sake of our freedom and that of others, we cannot permit our reserve to be confused with a lack of resolve."
Ronald Reagan (1984)
Very interesting. I'm glad at least Horowitz comprehends what's at stake and is willing to point out to students that all of the rhetoric about "tolerance" of Muslims is just a front for people who themselves are extremely intolerant.
Muslims are notorious for their 'intolerance' toward gays and women, as well as Christians, Jews, and other infidels. This doesn't mean that Muslims are critical of them, it means that they support the Islamists who abuse and even kill them at every possible turn.
Muslims use our freedom against us by infiltrating our universities under the false flags of "we are oppressed!" and "free speech!"
The vitriole and true 'hate speech' of Muslims for Christians, for Jews, and for America, make them the perfect yellow canary in the mine to reveal the sympathy in academia and the media for enemies of the United States.
The overwhelming majority of Muslims refuse to speak out against genocidal groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, let alone against jihad or Muslim terrorism at large. Yet the Muslims' support for groups that are virtually at war with Israel and the United States does not only appear to be a fact that does not faze liberals, it actually endears Muslims to them. Muslims and modern liberals are truly "United in Hate," as Dr. Jamie Glazov pointed out in his book.
The tolerance for the hate speech of Muslims clearly shows the cognitive dissonance of soft-minded "liberals" who refuse to fathom the foundations of the free society that they claim to hold dear and radicals who themselves only use the free society as a means to the end of their utopian brand of tyranny.
